The Invisible Man

I came across these really cool photographs of paintings by Chinese artist Liu Bolin who paints himself to blend in with any surrounding.  Camouflage at it's finest, human style.  Apparently, it can take up to 10 hours to prepare himself for one shot.  Amazing talent!!  Super cool art! The message however, behind his art is even stronger.

Society 6 iPhone Cases

I have a cute polka dot case for my iPhone, but I wanted something a bit different and more fitting for the fall season.  I came across this great website that has super cool looking cases.  The price is a bit more than I want to pay, especially for something that doesn't have that much "protection", but I am in love with some of these designs and HAVE to have one.

I'm torn between these...there are just too many options...sigh...

Out of Boredom Does Talent Flourish

Some people really make the BEST of their time when they are on a looooong flight.  This is just one example! HAHA.

Nina Katchadourian, an artist from Stanford, California (I didn't know stanford university had its own city??) spent time in an airplane to recreate portraits from 15th century Flemish renaissance painters using none other than toilet paper and seat covers. In some ways I find this a bit disturbing, but also quite hilarious.

I know my mom will get a kick out of this!
